Pu-Tai

Ven. Xian Baohu asked Pu-Tai,

‘What is the main thrust of the Buddha-dharma?’

Pu-Tai dropped his cloth bag and placed his palms together in reverence.

‘Is it only this or is there something higher still?’

Pu-Tai took up his bag and left.
