To circulate the vital energy:

When it is stable, it will be regular.

Beginning in early 2026, Luminous Dharma will be offering a six-month course covering concepts and practices relevant to spiritual energies and cultivation.
We will meet online once a month. At each meeting systematic instruction will be given and questions answered, and then we will practice that instruction regularly on our own until our next meeting. Each meeting will cover a vital skillset that can be cultivated or uncovered, and over the span of thee course these skills will interweave to provide an experiential understanding of the nature and roles of energy within practice.
Energies play a big role in the following: Sitting comfortably or pleasurably, the roles of posture in practice, jhana, piti-sukha, standing practice, movement practice, spontaneous movements, qigong, anapanasati and breath based practice, samadhi, brahmaviharas, settling body and mind, releasing trauma and ptsd, unwinding, returning to nature, emptiness/suchness practices and more. (The list goes on.)
For those that might be interested the suggested donation is 100-200 per month and a commitment to attend and to practice the homework so that the process has a chance to unlock direct, experiential change. Nobody will be turned away if they give less, but donation and commitment is what would enable me to spend my time trying to transmit something like this.
We will meet one time a month as a group for 1-2 hours (meetings will be recorded with links shared with the group). You are each strongly encouraged to regularly check-in (one on one or as a small group) throughout the course as as well. (A retreat for course attendees may be possible in the second half of 2026 depending on attendance and how the course goes.)
