Don’t stir anything up

  • Sit comfortably, eyes open and downcast about 2-3 feet in front of you, vision relaxed, softened and spread out.
  • Starting with the experience of the body and senses, simply let everything go by without stirring up the mind or getting involved with any of it.
    • If the mind gets stirred up by something, simply notice and then release the mind back into a natural peaceful state.
  • Expand to include any thoughts as well, letting all experiences go by like clouds in the sky or passers-by outside a window, resting in silence and stillness.
  • Spend time un-stirred and see what it is like to experience from this perspective.
